Microwave Chatpate Aloo Recipe

Chatpate Aloo works both as a delicious appetizer and as a filling sabzi.

Ingredients:
  1. ½ a kg of baby potato, washed and cut into halves
  2. 1 ½ tbsp of ginger garlic paste
  3. 1 ½ tsp of kashmiri chili powder
  4. 1 tsp each coriander and cumin seeds
  5. 2 tbsp of oil
  6. Salt to Taste
  7. 2 tsp of lemon juice
  8. 3 tbsp of finely chopped coriander.


  Method of Preparation:
  • Cut the baby Potato into halves and put them into a large microwaveable bowl.
  • Add 1 ½ tbsp of ginger-garlic paste, 1 ½ tsp of kashmiri chili powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of cumin seed powder, salt to taste and 2 tbsp of oil and mix them together really well until the baby potatoes are coated in the spices.
  • Now put the bowl in the microwave for 4: 30 minutes on high.
  • Take the bowl out, stir and then put it back on microwave on high for another 4:30 minutes.
  • Once out add 2 tbsp of lemon juice and finely chopped coriander and mix well.
  • Serve it as chatpatta appetizers or wholesome sabzi you cant go wrong either.
